What is taagung?
It is a blogging platform with the idea of sharing thoughts, experiences, opinion, satires, analysis, travel experiences, adventures and so on. In summary, it could be anything which may benefit anyone – possibilities could endless.
The Concept behind taagung
I am a software programmer by profession and while programming for clients for more than a decade, I had seen my colleagues blogging mostly on programming stuff and travel experiences up to some extent. Apart from being a programmer and silent taxpayer, we programmers are also a human being, made up of flesh, blood like anyone else and have emotions too. So, I created this platform to share opinion to and from my this fraternity (but not limited to) about the ongoing issue in the society, to analyze about reforms, to counter the propaganda, social satires etc. and of course on technical topics (my bread and butter).
When I shared my idea with my friend Tuba, she supported me all along and since taagung is live now, she has been passionately writing very good articles.
Meaning of taagung, logo and tagline
“taagung” is derived from a German word ‘tagung’ which means collective effort towards a common goal. This is what this platform is for.
In our logo, “two ‘a’s facing each other” means good communication and consensus among all members and an ‘encircling red circle’ is the limit, which restrains us from spreading any false information, fake propaganda and negativity.
All characters in “taagung” are always in the same case (either lower or upper) which deciphers our intentions of equal reverence to everyone.
our tagline “… pen to share” narrates the idea of sharing by blogging. It simply translates to “I pen to share”, “They pen to share”, “You pen to share”, “We pen to share”.
All posts are the result of rigorous research from authentic sources, our article count is not very high on numbers but excellent on credibility. Our focus is to have Quality over Quantity, Authenticity over Propaganda and Positivity over Negativity.
