With the advent of monsoons, one can visit a lot of beautiful spots around Mumbai & Pune. One such spot is the MTDC Panshet resort situated near Pune. MTDC Panshet is a Maharashtra government undertaking.

Situated around 41 Kms from Pune & 185 Kms from Mumbai, MTDC Panshet is a quaint resort that can be visited with your family.

How to reach?

We took Ola from Mumbai to Motiram Nagar, Warje, Pune which costed us Rs. 1500 and then another Uber to the resort which costed us Rs. 700. During our return journey, Uber was not available from the resort. So, we walked 2 kms. to the bus stop, wherein we have local drivers plying to Moitiram. We then booked Ola for Mumbai.

Accomodation:

It has VIP, AC, Non AC rooms etc. You can book them through the MTDC website.

Activities:

The resort consists of a swimming pool, indoor games area, with carrom, table tennis & chess. It has a restaurant, that serves reasonably priced food. The resort is filled with Mango & Jackfruit trees.

A little outside the resort you can go for boating. There are some adventurous activities that you can undertake too.
