Anti-BJP advocate Swara Bhasker pulled a Kejri and voted for BJP in Delhi general election. This news has sent shock waves in twitter with people trying to come to terms with this unexpected development.
‘I don’t know what happened. I was standing in the line and the hashtags ‘ModiToGaya’ and ‘AyegaToModiHi’ kept echoing in my head’ she explained. ‘I was going to vote for AAP, I really was. Just before I could press the button, my body froze and started shaking. For some reasons, I started murmuring ‘Ayega to Modi Hi’ again and again. I was not in control and I voted for BJP and left the booth crying.’ a visible devastated Swara explained.
We talked to medical experts to understand what happened to Swara. ‘This is a classic case of Stockholm Syndrome. After her social and to some extent personal life was hijacked by BJP supporters, she may have developed a liking for them. Maybe deep down she wants BJP to win, just so she can keep fighting them.’ Explained Dr. Mandal of Hiranandani Hospital.
While BJP has declared it their win, AAP is upset with this twist. ‘We even saw her movies because she supported our cause’ said a party worker in Delhi.
Meanwhile, her biggest detractors are probably the most upset with this story. ‘I spent days creating memes to post on her twitter feed once BJP wins. Now, it seems like a waste.’
